He is a scientist in the moment when he wants to know more about the process of the master of the university and how to evade death developing revolutionary process. However, He is creator at the same time when he wants to manipulate life resulting in a failure with the monster Frankenstein and Elizabeth as well. We can add the fact that Victor Frankenstein was a scientist because he wanted to make new knowledge as scientist do today because the goal of science is to discover new information, and Victor Frankenstein was simply being a scientist, creating new information to revive people from death, but, in the other hand he was creating trying to make a human being from parts of dead bodies, this could be compared to today, making one creature from another when we make a surgery based on genetic manipulation exchanging parts from a body to other to keep people alive. Victor Frankenstein searching knowledge and developing science was as a Creator replacement because according to him, life can come from the appendages of other human beings. With his creation Victor Frankenstein disproves the idea of an universal creator and defy God's established idea. Then, it is possible to say that Victor Frankenstein was a scientist and when he has some mastery in his knowledge he becomes in a Creator pretendant intending to bring new life in the end without him aware of this, but it is possible to say that he was a creator because he succeded in bringing a new life, however, without this fact Victor Frankenstein was supposed to be considered a scientist only.
